~SECOND AMENDMENT Firearms training & education (SAFTea)~
The firearms training community has lacked a nationwide training program specifically directed at training the new and inexperienced shooter in the defensive use of the most common platforms of firearms – handguns, shotguns and carbines. Over the past year the SAF Training Education (SAFTEA) has embarked on the development of just such a training program.All of the courses offered are presented with the defensive use of the individual firearm in mind. While familiar foundational material is presented, additional defensive topics and activities are included such as firearm selection, holsters, use of force, discussions about legal issues, use of cover and concealment, the defensive stance, methods of aiming your defensive firearm, how your body will react to a defensive situation and a broad range of incremental live fire drills to build the student’s shooting skill level.
FUNDAMENTALS AND SAFETY TRAINING (F.A.S.T.)
The goal of the SAF Training Education “F.A.S.T courses are to provide the student with a solid foundation in basic knowledge of the "Fundamentals and Safety Training" on your specific firearm, a basic understanding of ammunition and how it functions as well as shooting fundamentals.
F.A.S.T. Handgun
F.A.S.T Handgun is specifically designed to provide a person new to handguns the opportunity to gain that knowledge and learn the basics of operation,
cleaning and maintenance, safety and much more in a convenient 4 hour course. “F.A.S.T Handgun” is also meant as an introductory course for students new to handguns prior to taking SAFTD

F.A.S.T Carbine is specifically designed to provide a person new to Carbines the opportunity to gain that knowledge and learn the basics of operation,
cleaning and maintenance, safety and much more in a convenient 4 hour course. “F.A.S.T Carbine” is also meant as an introductory course for students new to
carbines prior to taking SAFTEA Defensive Carbine 1.

Defensive Pepper Spray Course
Defensive Pepper Spray Course is a blend of PowerPoint and hands on during the class class using POM Industries brand inert training units. This class is approved by POM Industries OC Pepper
Spray . This is a half day class [4hrs].
